UZWIL, SWITZERLAND — Bühler’s new mobile maize (corn) analyzer GrainiGo offers instant quality analysis coupled with the Internet of Things.

With a smartphone photo, the analyzer is able to identify the yield and quality parameters of a maize sample. The cloud-based service provides flexibility, tracks product performances and offers a low-cost solution for quality assurance, Bühler said.

With its portable design, it may be used at any point of the production train making it possible to track raw materials from a supplier or negotiating prices directly on the fields.

Bühler will be showcasing the product at its booth Hall 3, Booth B13 at Ipack-Ima 2018, May 29-June 1 at the Fiera Milano, Milano, Italy.
