OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS, US — Supply chain cost and risk during COVID-19 amid tightening world wheat supplies will be the topic of discussion at an Oct. 11 panel during the 31st annual IAOM Mideast & Africa Conference and Expo in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Dan Basse, president and founder of AgResource Co., will moderate the panel, which will feature Djamal Djouhri, chief executive officer of Al Ghurair Resources, Oils and Proteins and Al Ghurair Foods; Oga Venkat, manager of the Middle East and Africa desk at Cargill International SA; Reinier van Hanswijck, senior marketing manager of grains at Viterra; and Ibrahim Al-Hazaa, operations manager at Al-Hazaa Investment Group.

The conference, which will take place Oct. 10-12, also will include a panel discussion on the impact of automation and the 4th Industrial Revolution on the milling industry.
