ZANZIBAR, TANZANIA — More than 600 delegates are expected to attend the 32nd annual International Association of Operative Miller’s Mideast and Africa Conference and Expo, which returns to Africa this year.

The event is planned for Oct. 25-28 at the Hotel Verde Zanzibar in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Africa. Delegates are expected to come from 50 countries and about 100 companies plan to exhibit.

“The three-day event will be officially inaugurated by Dr. Hussein Mwinyi, president of Zanzibar, while the conference program will offer topics of interest and value to each and every industry stakeholder, not to forget the extensive networking opportunities offered at the expo space,” said Mounir Bakhressa, IAOM MEA 2022 conference chairman and managing director/chief executive officer, Bakhresa Grain Milling.

IAOM MEA has partnered with Hotel Verde Zanzibar, which is located just outside of Stone Town, a city of historical and artistic importance. The hotel was recognized as Africa’s greenest hotel, while Zanzibar is known as Africa’s tropical paradise with white sand beaches and turquoise water.

“It is very delightful to celebrate this momentous event back in Africa,” Bakhressa said.
