MANHATTAN, KANSAS, U.S. — Bühler, Inc. will team up with Kansas State University's (KSU) IGP Institute in March to offer expert milling courses. One of these trainings will be offered in Spanish. Leading off is the Bühler-KSU Expert Milling course set for March 7-11, at the IGP Institute Conference Center in Manhattan, Kansas, U.S. The following week, March 14-18, IGP will host the Bühler-KSU Milling course in Spanish.

"This course is particularly beneficial for the more experienced millers who are interested in learning more about the advanced milling techniques," said Shawn Thiele, operations manager and milling specialist. "We are able to work with participants on equipment that they may not be familiar with."

The training covers topics including wheat tempering, cleaning systems, the perfect break release, purifier techniques, roller mills, sifters, mill pneumatics and more. The content is taught in class presentations and also through hands-on milling exercises in the Hal Ross Flour Mill.
