WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, CANADA — G3 Canada has renewed its long-term partnership with the Port of Quebec to operate the grain elevator in Quebec City. G3 has operated the grain elevator for more than 50 years, and the new agreement will extend the partnership for another 30 years, G3 said.

G3 specializes in importing and exporting grains, including corn, soybeans, wheat and canola. The company said the Port of Quebec terminal has more than 225,000 tonnes of storage capacity, with grain from the site being shipped to Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South America.

“G3 is proud to renew its 30-year partnership with the Port of Quebec,” said Don Chapman, president of G3 Canada. “This agreement is crucial for G3 and the agricultural producers we serve throughout the province. Our partnership with the port makes the difference in our ability to meet the demands of agricultural producers who want to market their grain at lower cost and as quickly as possible to world markets.”

Mario Girard, president and chief executive officer of the Port of Quebec, said the port is proud to continue its relationship with G3.

“This collaboration will continue to strengthen the supply chain, highlighting Port of Quebec’s operational excellence and strategic advantages,” Girard said.
