ATLANTA, GEORGIA, US — The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) welcomed thousands of visitors to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, US, from Jan. 24-26.
After having to cancel the 2021 show due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions and reduced attendance in 2022, this year’s turnout had organizers optimistic and suppliers and visitors making more connections for their businesses.
World Grain was on the expo floor covering the event and educational sessions, which was co-sponsored by the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), US Poultry and Egg Association and the American Meat Institute.

LOWELL, MICHIGAN, US — King Milling Co., Michigan’s largest flour miller, on April 10 celebrated the completion of the latest expansion of its flour milling complex. The $47 million project, which began in 2022 and was completed this winter, involved erecting the mill as well as two slipform concrete wheat storage bins that are attached to it. SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, US — Millers, suppliers and allied industries from across the globe gathered for the 128th International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) Conference & Expo from April 15-19 in Salt Lake City. From the opening reception through the awards banquet, attendees were treated to connections, education, equipment and celebrations of the milling industry.
