Warrior Mfg., LLC was founded in 1978 in Redwood Falls, MN and began operations manufacturing structural steel support systems and material handling equipment for the grain and feed industry including conveyor trusses, support towers, and stair platform systems. In 2007 Warrior constructed a second manufacturing facility in Hutchinson, MN due to its rapid growth. The Hutchinson facility added 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space, allowing the company to considerably enhance its overall production efficiency. In 2012, Warrior acquired a company, Micada, based in Hope, ND. The company was founded in 1990, and at the time of its acquisition by Warrior, manufactured hopper bottom bins, grain bins, and other grain storage accessories for the on-farm agricultural grain storage market. Micada also manufactured catwalks, tower support systems, storage and silo cones, fall safe systems, and bulk weighers for the off-farm commercial grain handling industry.
In 2016, Warrior once again expanded by adding a material handling product line. The material handling division provides Warrior customers with a full line of material handling equipment including bucket elevators, en masses conveyors, enclosed belt conveyors, ground pile conveyors and parts and service. The division operates out of a 50,000 square foot facility in Omaha, NE. In addition to providing Warrior with additional material handling products for its existing customer base it also added new customers in industries and locations not previously served by the company. Finally, in conjunction with the addition of the material handling division, Warrior also opened a sales office in Eastern Europe to serve international customers.
