CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, U.S. — An employee of Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) was found at the bottom of an elevator shaft at a flour mill in Chicago, Illinois, U.S., the morning of March 6, the Chicago-based company said in a statement to Milling & Baking News, World Grain’s sister publication. He was transported via ambulance to a local hospital and was in critical condition March 6, ADM said. The company is investigating the cause of the incident.
