OMAHA, NEBRASKA, U.S. — Gavilon, LLC announced on Sept. 6 that it will establish its second Australian commodity management office in Perth. Gavilon’s Australian headquarters for grain origination, transportation and logistics, marketing and distribution, and risk management services will commence business operations in October.
"We are very pleased to be establishing our presence in Australia’s major agricultural exporting region," said David Levine, vice-president of Gavilon’s international division. "We are looking forward to providing producers another alternative for services while helping to meet domestic and export demand for wheat, feed grains and oilseeds."
Gavilon is searching for qualified candidates to staff the new office.
