VILLARTA DE SAN JUAN, SPAIN — Symaga recently completed the assembly of four hopper silos for Legumbres Pedro in Alcalá de los Gazules, Cadiz, Spain.

The SCX0460/08T45 silos will store and preserve legumes before processing. The facility will open in the coming months.

The order included accessories aimed at protecting the product, such as roof vents for fumigation, which provide grain aeration with constant air flows; and special sealing foam for the silo roof to avoid the entry of rain or snow and to carry out fumigation treatments.

The grain stopper system that includes channels and deflector plates will prevent grain breakage and dust creation. The silos also include rotative sensors to detect maximum level and membrane sensors to detect minimum level. They do not require power and incorporate a regulation column which allows for adjusting the sensitivity.
