On Oct. 25, World Grain toured The African Milling School located in Nairobi, Kenya. After the IAOM MEA meeting, guests were invited to tour the school, which offers training in the milling industry with a focus on theoretical and practical training. After the tours, the guests were treated to a barbecue.

LOWELL, MICHIGAN, US — King Milling Co., Michigan’s largest flour miller, on April 10 celebrated the completion of the latest expansion of its flour milling complex. The $47 million project, which began in 2022 and was completed this winter, involved erecting the mill as well as two slipform concrete wheat storage bins that are attached to it. SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, US — Millers, suppliers and allied industries from across the globe gathered for the 128th International Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) Conference & Expo from April 15-19 in Salt Lake City. From the opening reception through the awards banquet, attendees were treated to connections, education, equipment and celebrations of the milling industry.
