BLOOMINGTON, ILLINOIS, U.S. — Regional agricultural cooperative GROWMARK announced on April 19 that it intends to purchase the assets of Select Seed, Camden, Indiana, U.S. The transaction is expected to close by May 1.
Owned and operated by the Eggerling family, Select Seed is a third-generation, family business.
Select Seed’s proprietary brand is sold through more than 100 active farmer dealers in Indiana, southern Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky.
