Symaga receives certification for environmental system

VILLARTA DE SAN JUAN, SPAIN — Symaga Group received UNE-EN ISP 14001 certification for its Environmental Management System.

The certification consolidates the push for the improvement of resource and waste management, a key element in Symaga Group’s social corporate responsibility, the company said.

Under Symaga’s Environmental Management System, the company mitigates environmental impact and reduces risks in case of accident, while boosting innovation and productivity.

The environmental certificate adds to the quality re-certifications ISO 9001 and UNE EN 1090 awarded to Symaga. In 2013, Symaga became one of the first companies in the sector to affix the CE marking for metallic structure manufacturing.

“These certificates are a recognition of the unabated push for excellence in manufacturing from our corporate quality department and its system for continuous improvement,” the company said.

Moreover, they help Symaga to lay down solid foundations to achieve two major goals of the group: customer satisfaction and continuous product development, it said.
