Dale Nellor, vice-president, government and technical affairs for NAMA.

WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S. — Dale Nellor has joined the North American Millers’ Association (NAMA) as vice-president, government and technical affairs, effective Jan. 3. In his new role Nellor will serve as liaison to the NAMA Technical Committee.

Previously, Nellor held senior government affairs positions with the Rural Development mission of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). He also was senior vice-president for legislative affairs at the American Meat Institute. He also held positions at the Nebraska Farm Bureau Federation and served as a legislative assistant to the former Senator Chuck Hagel of Nebraska.

A graduate of Concordia University, Mequon, Wisconsin, U.S. Nellor has a bachelor of science degree in business management.

Nellor succeeds Benjamin Boroughs, who had held the position since June 2014. Boroughs has taken a position with the Foreign Agricultural Service of the USDA.
