SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — Aldi, a discount grocery store, announced on July 12 arecallfor its Bakers Life Hot Dog Rolls, six pack dated best before July 14. The recall is only for the New South Wales (NSW) and Australian Capital Territory in Australia (ACT). 


The product was recalled due the potential of metal shavings in the hotdog buns. The company advises customers not to consume the product and to return the product for a full refund. 

Aldi has operated internationally for 50 years and in 2001 opened stories in Australia. Currently Aldi has about 400 stories in NSW, ACT, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia and South Australia.
