JACKSON, MICHIGAN, U.S. — Dawn Food Products, Inc. has opened four new distribution centers that have led to a net increase in storage of more than 6 million cubic feet across ambient, frozen and refrigerated temperature environments. The centers are in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.; Piscataway, New Jersey, U.S.; Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.; and Toronto, Canada.

Each facility includes a baking center with equipment and space to support innovation development and to facilitate ongoing customer interaction and partnership. Sustainable features include motion-sensor LED and T-5 lighting to reduce electricity use, high-speed roll-up cooler and freezer doors to reduce energy losses, and heat reclamation from refrigeration systems to increase efficiencies in coolers and freezers.
