BRUSSELS, BELGIUM — FEFAC and TURKIYEMBIR announced that the XXVII FEFAC Congress will be April 21-22, 2016 in Antalya, Turkey. The key conference theme is “Societal acceptance of livestock production in the E.U.”
The congress will highlight the feed industry's capacity and sector initiatives to be “part of the solution” in order to respond to increasing societal and media challenges for the intensive livestock sector in Europe. Media and political attention to the livestock and feed sector’s activities has steadily increased over the years leading to often unfounded criticism and negative allegations, the groups said
For the first time, FEFAC’s Congress will be held in conjunction with the 5th Global Feed and Food Congress, co-hosted by IFIF, FEFAC and TURKIYEMBIR, in cooperation with FAO, April 18–20, 2016.
