KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, U.S. — Thee Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBT) said on July 16 that it has raised its minimum margins for the hard red winter (HRW) wheat futures contract and wheat calendar swaps old crop/new crop spreads.

The changes went into effect on July 16.

For the HRW wheat old crop/new crop spread in both initial and maintenance, the new margin is $1,000. The old margin for both was $600.
