MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, U.S. — The Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) will be offering two "strategic briefings" prior to the Leadership Conference planned in August. While they are specifically structured as an orientation for members new to GEAPS leadership, all members are welcome to participate.

The first briefing will be an overview of GEAPS' strategic direction, highlighting both significant opportunities and potential barriers to achieving GEAPS' full potential as the knowledge resource for the world of grain handling industry operations. This first briefing will be held July 9 at 1:30 p.m. CDT.

The second briefing will focus on the expansion of the Distance Education Program to include and support the newly-launched Grain Handling Operations Management Credential.

This second briefing will be held July 13, at 11:30 a.m.

The briefings will be offered as 30-minute webinars and presented by GEAPS International leaders themselves. A PC with high speed internet connection will be needed for the visuals. The audio portion will use GEAPS' conference call line. Contact Julia Kloehn at [email protected] for more information or to RSVP to participate.
