Feed events

Several conferences and seminars during the event will focus on varying aspects of the feed industry. The Petfood & Aquafeed Extrusion Conference on March 11 will focus on the extrusion and related equipment for pet and aquafeeds.

It will feature a variety of industry experts offering presentations on how users can make the best use of their extrusion machinery and aquafeed systems.

Aquatic Asia Conference, also on March 11, will focus on key areas of the biosciences in relation to fish, shrimp, nutrition, health and more.

GMP+International and the Feed Ingredient and Premix Association of Asia (FIPPA) will present Feed Safety First: Antibiotics & Medicines and Impact on Animals & Consumers on March 12. Topics to be covered include global antibiotic consumption and usage in the production of animal feed; how antimicrobial resistance shapes and drives regulatory changes; initiatives, safeguarding feed production including strategies to prevent cross contamination and unintended use of substances; and the GMP+ No-Antibiotic Feed Standard.

The conference will examine how Asia is doing in cutting back on medicines and antibiotics in the production of feed.

It also will clarify existing rules so industry members understand what’s expected and how they can meet industry standards.

The 2024 Feed Strategy Conference on March 12 will provide tips on overcoming post-antibiotic growth promotion (AGP) challenges while maintaining health and productivity in poultry and livestock production. The event is designed for Southeast Asian animal feed nutritionists and feed producers with the goal of addressing the specific needs and health challenges producers face when reducing and eliminating AGPs.

Five industry experts will explore practical nutrition strategies and cutting-edge feed additive research for the sustainable enhancement of animal performance.

GRAPAS Asia

GRAPAS Asia will highlight the latest trends, technologies and developments within the rice, grain and flour milling industries. The Asian rice milling sector has been experiencing significant growth and transformation, according to recent market analysis by Mordor Intelligence. Similarly, the global flour market is experiencing growth, with its value expected to increase from $102.99 billion now to $125.33 billion by 2027.

GRAPAS Asia will provide a platform for industry stakeholders to explore the expanding markets. It brings together leading experts, manufacturers and innovators from across the region and the world.

“The presence of GRAPAS alongside VICTAM Asia enriches the exhibition by covering a broader spectrum of grain, rice, and flour milling technology,” said Sebas van den Ende, general manager of Victam Corp. “It offers attendees a comprehensive view of the entire feed and grain processing chain, enhancing the overall value and experience.”

More than 200 exhibitors from around the world are participating, showcasing the latest products and services from bagging technology, milling equipment, storage systems, quality control and more.

“In line with a long-standing tradition, many of these companies will also be launching new products at the show,” van den Ende said. “This shows how important this event is within the industry.”
