VERACRUZ, MEXICO — USA Rice Federation President and Chief Executive Officer Betsy Ward, and USA Rice's Mexico promotions team visited this week with the top two rice milling companies in Mexico to discuss joint promotional efforts, USA Rice said on Oct. 5.  
The two milling groups, Schettino Hermanos and Industrializadora de Productos Agricolas de la Cuenca del Papaloapan S.A. de C.V. (IPACPA), import nearly all of the U.S. paddy rice shipped to Mexico and a portion of the milled rice imported from the U.S. USA Rice said it had productive visits with both groups, discussing various ways to increase consumption of U.S. rice. Through this collaboration, USA Rice will reach an even broader audience.
