COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA, US — Juan Carlos Rodriguez McAllister has joined TreeHouse Foods, Inc. as grain miller at the company’s durum mill in Columbia, South Carolina. The Columbia mill has durum capacity of 11,000 cwts and storage capacity of 410,000 bushels, according to the 2022 Grain & Milling Annual published by Sosland Publishing.

Rodriguez McCallister most recently was a master miller at Minot Milling Co.’s mill in Minot, North Dakota, US, and earlier was head miller for North Dakota Mill and Elevator in Grand Forks, North Dakota, US. He also has worked as a mill manager at Riviana Foods, Inc. in Alvin, Texas, US, a mill superintendent at ADM in Los Angeles, California, US, and a mill superintendent at Knappen Milling Co. in Augusta, Michigan, US. Earlier in his career he spent more than eight years as general director and flour milling consultant at Harinera de Silao, SA de CV in Silao, Guanajuato, and 10 years as general manager of Harinera Seis Hermanos, SA de CV in Irapuato, Guanajuato.

He received a bachelor of science degree in milling science and management at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, US, and is a certified baking technologist in baking science from the American Institute of Baking (now known as AIB International).
