BLOOMINGTON, ILLINOIS, US — Mark Orr has been named chief executive officer of GROWMARK, Inc., effective March 1, 2022. He will succeed Jim Spradlin, who is set to retire on Feb. 28. Spradlin has been CEO since September 2014.

Orr has been with GROWMARK/FS since 1990, most recently as vice president of agronomy at GROWMARK since 2014. Earlier, he was a region vice president at GROWMARK and also has worked as general manager of AgView FS and Piatt County Service Co.

He received a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness at Illinois State University.

GROWMARK is an agricultural cooperative that provides agronomy, energy, facility planning, and logistics products and services, as well as grain marketing and risk management services throughout North America.
