ANKARA, TURKEY — Turkey’s cereals and other crop production is expected to increase 7.3% in 2020 to a total of 68.5 million tonnes, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute.

Cereals production is expected to increase 7.9% to 37.1 million tonnes. The total includes wheat production of 20.5 million tonnes, up 7.9%; barley production of 8.3 million tonnes, up 8.7%; rye production of 320,000 tonnes, up 3.2%; and oat production of 289,000 tonnes, up 9%.

Soybean production is not expected to change at a total of 150,000 tonnes.
