OMAHA, NEBRASKA, U.S. — James Navin has joined the Gavilon Group LLC as the company’s new chief information officer. He will lead the strategic direction of Gavilon’s technology team and innovation across the company. 

“Adding Jim’s expertise and knowledge to the Gavilon team is directly in line with our vision to innovate to meet the needs of people within the global agricultural supply chain,” said Steven Zehr, chief executive officer at Gavilon. “We take pride in the local experts that currently work with our producers and consumers and look forward to the technology solutions Jim and his team will develop to improve the processes and experience for the people we work with every day.”

Navin brings more than 23 years of experience to Gavilon, including leading technology across global and remote work sites at Kiewit Technology Group and ACI Worldwide. Most recently he was product director for Kiewit Technology Group in Omaha, Nebraska, U.S., where he was responsible for enterprise software and systems for many of Kiewit’s operations.

Navin received a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Nebraska — Omaha, and is completing his master’s of business administration degree in management from Bellevue University.
