OAKWOOD, GEORGIA, U.S. — A grain dust explosion at a Crystal Farms Mills, Inc. feed mill in Oakwood, Georgia, U.S., damaged a grain chute but did not result in any injuries, according to an article in the Gainesville Times.

The explosion occurred on April 30.

The Hall County Fire Services said the grain dust explosion “caused damage to a travel chute located on the grain mill.”

Crystal Farms manufactures and markets poultry, swine and dairy feeds, selling to agricultural companies in the southeastern United States. The company was acquired by Wincorp International in August 2018.
