David McKee is an independent cereals and agribusiness consultant who has written for World Grain since 2002. He obtained an MBA from the University of Washington, Seattle in 1983 after studying Asian languages. He has been to 185 countries, most of them professionally and related to grain.
LOWELL, MICHIGAN, US — King Milling Co., Michigan’s largest flour miller, on April 10 celebrated the completion of the latest expansion of its flour milling complex. The $47 million project, which began in 2022 and was completed this winter, involved erecting the mill as well as two slipform concrete wheat storage bins that are attached to it.
