KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, US — The Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) Exchange 2023 wrapped up its Feb. 25-28 run in Kansas City, Missouri, US, with visibly bigger attendance and hopes for a record year.
Thousands of grain industry professionals gathered from across the globe to share the latest in equipment, trends and professional development at the Kansas City Convention Center. Many suppliers reported a positive experience and a return to crowds last seen before the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the 2020 show. The expo floor featured more than 350 exhibitors.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA, US — The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) welcomed thousands of visitors to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, US, from Jan. 24-26.
After having to cancel the 2021 show due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions and reduced attendance in 2022, this year’s turnout had organizers optimistic and suppliers and visitors making more connections for their businesses.
World Grain was on the expo floor covering the event and educational sessions, which was co-sponsored by the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), US Poultry and Egg Association and the American Meat Institute.

CREMONA, ITALY — More than 150 guests from all over the world attended Ocrim’s “Grano, Farina, E…” (Wheat, Flour, And…) event Sept. 16-17 in Cremona, Italy.
The two-day event included discussions on topical issues, including energy saving, maximizing productivity, milling plant efficiency and food trends. The Ocrim “O|farmhouse” was inaugurated, in the area next to the Milling Hub plant, a recently renovated farmhouse that functions as a hospitality area.
The Sept. 17 conference began with greetings from the Mayor of Cremona, Gianluca Galimberti followed by professors from the Università del Sacro Cuore.
At the end of the conference, attendees visited the Milling Hub mill plant, near the Ocrim manufacturing and logistical headquarters.
