The facility was the first greenfield project for the company since 1910.
The mill has three GSI corrugated steel tanks measuring 60-feet in diameter and 117 feet tall with total storage of 800,000 bushels.
Concrete storage consists of four slip-form silos measuring 33-feet in diameter and 136 feet tall. Each has a capacity to hold about 83,000 bushels and there is an interstice with a capacity of 24,000 bushels.

The Willard mill has double-high Antares and single-high Antares roller mills from Bühler.
The mill’s extensive cleaning house includes Bühler’s Sortex sorters.

Flour is loaded in 50-pound bags using the Bühler MAIA bagging station. The bags are then palletized using a robotic system.
Star of the West ships 50-pound bags of flour to Arizona, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Ontario, Canada.
