Flour treatment specialist Mühlenchemie is planning a Digital Millers’ Conference in September.
The online conference will be held Sept. 16-22 and feature grain and flour experts from around the world who will discuss issues impacting the global milling industry.
The event will include regional sessions that will focus on the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the French-speaking and CIS countries.
During the conference, well-known international scientists, experts, and millers will discuss the current trends and challenges in flour treatment, improvement, and enrichment, focusing on the current wheat harvest, analysis, and milling techniques.

LOWELL, MICHIGAN, US — King Milling Co., Michigan’s largest flour miller, on April 10 celebrated the completion of the latest expansion of its flour milling complex. The $47 million project, which began in 2022 and was completed this winter, involved erecting the mill as well as two slipform concrete wheat storage bins that are attached to it.
