WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S. — The price of all wheat received by U.S. farmers in November averaged $4.73 a bushel, up 9¢ from October and up 85¢ from November 2016, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in its Dec. 28 Agricultural Prices report.

Durum averaged $6.53 a bushel, up 12¢ from October and up 53¢ from November 2016. Spring wheat other than durum averaged $5.78 a bushel, up 23¢ from October and up $1.30 from a year earlier, with hard red spring at $5.89 a bushel, up 16¢ and up $1.35, respectively.

Winter wheat averaged $4.07 a bushel, down 10¢ from October but up 66¢ from November 2016, with hard red winter at $3.84 a bushel, up 2¢ from October and up 68¢ from a year earlier, and soft red winter at $4.31 a bushel, down 17¢ from October but up 46¢ from November 2016.
