ABERDEEN, SOUTH DAKOTA, US — Agtegra Cooperative has entered into an agreement with Aurora Cooperative Elevator Co., a Nebraska cooperative, to acquire its agronomy locations at Mitchell and Tyndall, South Dakota, US. 

Financial terms of the acquisition announced Feb. 6 were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close at the end of the month.

“We are excited to expand our industry-leading agronomy products, services, and programs in the Mitchell and Tyndall communities,” said Daryl Molskness, senior vice president of agronomy for Agtegra. “The addition of these two locations will allow us to serve our current customers more efficiently and expand into new markets that complement our current footprint and offerings.”

Aberdeen, South Dakota, US-based Agtegra is the No. 12 North American grain company listed in Sosland Publishing Co.’s 2024 Grain & Milling Annual. The company has 41 grain storage facilities, including 30 country elevators, and 125 million bushels of licensed grain storage. With 20 grain storage facilities and 46 million bushels of licensed grain storage, Aurora Cooperative is listed at No. 38.
