ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA, US — The US Wheat Associates (USW) board of directors elected Clark Hamilton of Ririe, Idaho, US, as its chairman for fiscal year 2024-25 during its Jan. 26 meeting in Washington, DC, US.

The board also elected Jim Pellman, of McClusky, North Dakota, US, as vice chairman; Gary Millershaski of Lakin, Kansas, US, as secretary-treasurer; and Michael Peters, of Okarche, Oklahoma, US, as past chairman. 

Officers will take their positions during the USW board of directors annual meeting, which is July 9-12 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, US.

USW operates in more than 100 countries, activities made possible through producer checkoff dollars managed by 17 state wheat commissions and cost-share funding provided by the Foreign Agricultural Service of the US Department of Agriculture. 

USW maintains 15 offices strategically located around the world to help wheat buyers, millers, bakers, wheat food processors and government officials understand the quality, value and reliability of all six US wheat classes.
