IBBENBÜREN, GERMANY — The Crespel & Deiters Group has expanded its executive management team to further the Ibbenbüren, Germany-based wheat processor’s global growth and establish sustainable core processes.

Shareholders appointed to the executive board Philipp Deiters, CSO Food; Dr. Inge Hohrath, chief financial officer; and Steffen von Glahn, chief operating officer. They join previous managing partner Gustav Deiters, who continues to serve as the chief executive officer/CSO Non-Food. The new board members, who will share core responsibilities, were appointed during the annual general meeting in December.

“We are delighted to have accomplished our mission of continuing the group as an independent family business, now in its sixth generation,” said Gustav Deiters. “This gives us the entrepreneurial and financial independence to consistently pursue our vision of becoming a leading international manufacturer of wheat-based products, while remaining true to our values.”

Crespel & Deiters Group, a leading medium-size wheat processor in Europe, has continuously expanded and diversified its product portfolio in recent years. Since 2020, the company has been working to transform itself into an international leader in wheat-based solutions for the food and non-food sectors.

The new management structure will ensure that Crespel & Deiters Group, which has operated for over 160 years, is well positioned to continue to serve customers and business partners worldwide with high-quality products and solutions, the company said.
