MILFORD, INDIANA, US — David Chester has been promoted to a buyer/planner for Brock Grain Systems, said Cary Carter, vice president of supply chain and operational excellence for the Chore-Time Brock, Inc. Frankfort, Indiana, US, facility.

Chester’s new responsibilities include researching, sourcing and evaluating vendors as well as managing the inventory levels and accuracy to ensure company goals and customer ordering timelines are met.

A CTB employee since 2014, Chester recently held the position of warehouse lead where he monitored the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, including organizing the shipment of customer orders in a timely manner and transferring parts from the warehouse to the plant for use on assembling Brock’s variety of dryers. He also designed safety measures and trained new employees.

Chester is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, Indianapolis, Indiana, US. He is originally from Frankfort, Indiana, US, and currently resides in Indianapolis.
