ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA, US — The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) will host its annual Equipment Manufacturers Conference virtually Nov. 5. Registration for the conference is now open.

The conference will focus on updating the equipment sector of the feed industry on current issues and trends, providing an environment for learning from educational speakers and industry leaders.

“While we wish we could gather and see our equipment manufacturers in person, we are happy to offer our members a way to stay current on issues and trends relevant to their segment of the industry,” said Gary Huddleston, director of feed manufacturing and regulatory affairs for the AFIA.

Virtual attendees will hear policy issues being discussed in Washington, DC, US, an update on what is happening with the Internal Organization for Technical Committee 293 and other industry issues.

Early-bird registration ends Oct. 11, with a discounted rate of $50 for AFIA members and $100 for non-members.

Proceeds from the virtual event will go toward the Institute for Feed Education and Research’s EMC scholarship fund, a program designed to encourage college students to consider careers in the feed or grain sciences, which awards six annual $2,500 scholarships.
