REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA — Viterra Inc. completed its asset purchase agreement with Gardiner Dam Terminal Ltd. (GDT) to purchase its 50% interest in the grain handling facility at Strongfield, Saskatchewan, Canada. As a result of this transaction, Viterra has assumed full ownership of the facility.

Through a separate asset purchase agreement Viterra reached with GDT AgServices, Riverbend Co-operative Ltd. has assumed ownership of the crop input locations at Broderick, Strongfield and Tullis, Saskatchewan.

The transactions were approved at a special meeting of shareholders held on Dec. 13.
