Kristen Putch has served as the managing editor of Dairy Processing since 2020. She joined Sosland Publishing Company in 2019 as the editorial project manager for the International Baking Industry Expo (IBIE) before moving into her current role. Prior to joining Sosland Publishing, Putch spent nearly 15 years covering a wide range of topics for both print and online media. Kristen originally holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in communications, both from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

DENVER, COLORADO, US — The Women in Agribusiness (WIA) Summit brings together women in the sector for a dynamic networking and knowledge-sharing forum. This year's summit with about 1,000 attendees was Sept. 24-26 in Denver, Colorado.
The 13th annual conference convened women from across the ag value chain with a focus on fostering more positive, productive environments for professional women across the agribusiness and food sectors. Three women were honored with the Demeter Award of Excellence for their contributions to the ag/food sector.
