Ludlow Co-op was founded in 1904 when 83 farmers from the area around the small community of Ludlow, Illinois, U.S., came together and pledged $6,000 to found a local farmer-owned grain elevator company to serve their agricultural needs and provide a grain marketing link between themselves and the rest of the world. Following the elevator closing in Loda, Ludlow operates 8 locations in Illinois: Buckley, Danforth, Del Rey, La Hogue, Ludlow, Paxton, Perdueville, and Piper City.
According to the Grain & Milling Annual 2018, Ludlow Co-op has total grain storage capacity of 19.97 million bushels.
