TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA — This year’s Canadian Global Crops Symposium will focus on “Canada’s Reputation: Reliability, Innovation, Trust.”

The event is set for March 26-28 at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The opening speaker will be Murad Al-Katib, president, chief executive officer and board member of AGT Food and Ingredients. He founded AGT Foods in 2001 and built into a global billion dollar value-added pulses, staple foods and ingredients company.

His presentation will focus on building Canada’s reputation and how to meet $75 billion in exports by 2025.

Other topics include public trust and innovation; overcoming global trade and regulatory hurdles; customer’s perspective on Canada’s reputation as a grain supplier; outlook for Canadian crops in a global perspective; and commodity market watch.
