MEXICO CITY, MEXICO – The 4th ICC Latin American Cereals Conference, March 11-14, 2018, in Mexico City, Mexico, will address scientific and technological topics related to the production of grains, cereals and food.

The event is aimed at professionals who are connected to the value chains of grains and cereals, from agricultural production to the food industry and consumers including: cereal scientists and researchers, university professors, researchers, policy makers and trade associations.

The agenda for the event is divided into nine main scientific topics: quality and quality assessment; cereal processing technologies; cereal foods; nutrition and health; food safety; food security; recent developments in breeding and agronomy; food legumes; and feeds and animal feeding.

Within those areas there are multiple subtopics that will cover areas such as grain storage and milling technology; extruded products; health benefits; mycotoxins and other contaminants; reduction of food waste; feed regulations; and strategies to increase grain production.
