MAUMEE, OHIO, U.S. — Srikanth Dasari has been named vice-president and treasurer of The Andersons, Inc. He will be responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day management of key finance functions, including treasury, tax, investor relations and financial risk, and also will play a role supporting rail car leasing and ethanol risk management. He will report to John Granato, chief financial officer.

Dasari has more than 20 years of finance experience, including capital markets and global treasury management. He most recently was treasurer of Westinghouse Electric Co. in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, U.S. Prior to joining Westinghouse, he spent five years with Dow Corning and 12 years with Owens-Illinois, Inc.

“Srikanth has a deep background in finance, holding leadership positions at major corporations such as Westinghouse, Dow Corning and Owens-Illinois,” Granato said. “His background in credit, treasury, lean six sigma and mergers and acquisitions makes him an ideal candidate for the treasury position and we are proud to have him join The Andersons. Srikanth spent more than a decade working in Northwest Ohio and he is excited to be back in the Toledo region.”

Dasari received a bachelor’s of science degree in chemical engineering from Osmania University in India in 1992 and a master’s of science degree in chemical engineering from The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio, U.S., in 1995. He also received a master of business administration degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, U.S., in 2003.
