MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, U.S. – MGEX has reached the best daily volume in the history of the exchange, with 37,391 contracts trading on June 29. This surpasses the previous record set earlier this month, when 33,453 contracts traded on June 13.
June’s total volume is at 456,089 contracts with one day yet to be counted.
Open interest from June 29 also finished at continued high numbers, concluding the day at 97,651, making it the 8th-best day.
