WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S.— Kaitlyn Tykhonovska joined the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) as global programs coordinator in the Washington, D.C., U.S., office on May 30. In this role, she will handle details, logistics and follow-up needs associated with USGC programs and consultants.

Cary Sifferath, USGC senior director of global programs, said Tykhonovska’s international experience, organizational skills and educational background are a good fit for the USGC “GloPro” team. He also highlighted her database skills, which will be helpful as USGC improves tracking of international team members, consultants and other international programs.

“I am excited to have someone of Kaitlyn’s caliber joining the Global Programs team,” Sifferath said. “As we move into our busy summer schedule, it is great to be fully staffed with capable professionals like Kaitlyn.”

Tykhonovska received a bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Mississippi and a master’s degree in conflict analysis and resolution from George Mason University.

Prior to joining the USGC, she worked with Capitol Process Services as the national services coordinator as well for the Mason Center for World Religions, Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution as the technology and research intern.
