Chad Paulk

MANHATTAN, KANSAS, U.S. — Kansas State University’s (KSU) Department of Grain Science (GSI) recently selected Chad Paulk to join the department as an assistant professor in Feed Science and Management this semester. After earning his masters and Ph.D. in animal science from Kansas State University, Paulk was an assistant professor at Texas A&M University. He currently teaches qualities of feed ingredients in the GSI Department and will soon be advising undergraduate students.

The department also recently filled the procurement officer position.  Dustin Busick was previously the procurement officer for Tyson Foods in Hutchinson, Kansas, U.S. Busick’s duties include purchasing lab and research supplies, tracking and receiving packages, and being the facilities liaison for safety amongst the department.

The department also congratulated Keaton Hale, senior in Milling Science and Management, on receiving a scholarship from Seaboard Overseas and Trading Group.  The internship allowed Hale to spend part of his holiday break at a flour mill in Guyana, South America.
