MANHATTAN, KANSAS, U.S. — The National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) and Kansas State University (KSU) is offering training about the Food Safety Modernization Act feed industry May 23-25. The course will focus on new animal food safety and regulatory requirements that will impact all sectors of the feed industry.

The course will allow attendees to understand new requirements, create effective animal food safety plan in accordance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements, under the guidance of nationally recognized experts.

Upon successful completion of this program, attendees will receive a certificate of training for the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA). There is also the opportunity to register for an additional HACCP session. This program allows the participant to earn the International HACCP Alliance Seal.
