“The strategic planning of the Port of Paranaguá was directed to meet the user and their needs,” said Jose Richa Filho, secretary of infrastructure and logistics at the Port of Paranaguá. “In 2016, we proved this by moving a varied mix of cargo more efficiently, which met the expectation of the production sector of Paraná.”
The Port of Paranaguá recorded 17.2 million tons of imported cargo, an increase of 21% compared to 2015 imports.
