KHARTOUM, SUDAN – Alapala recently completed a turnkey flour mill in Sudan. The facility in Khartoum, Sudan, built for a flour trade company with 20 years of experience in the sector, will have a production capacity of 600 tonnes per day (tph). The single-line mill has six 5,000-tonne silos and a preliminary purification capacity of 200 tph, which will contribute greatly to Sudan’s flour production.

The mill was opened by the Sudanese President Omer Al Basher, El Gezira State Governor Mohamed Tahir Aila and Alapala’s Chairman Ismail Alapala.

“We keep growing in the U.S., Europe, the Far East and Africa,” said Ismail Alapala. “We share the joy of succeeding with one of the most important investments of Sudan. Knowing that the billions of people all over the world consume flour and flour products with the machines we manufacture makes us proud."
