WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S. — The average price of all wheat paid to farmers in November was $3.88 a bushel, up 20¢ from October but down 98¢ from November 2015, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in its latest Agricultural Prices report.

 

Hard red winter wheat averaged $3.15 a bushel, up 8¢ from October but down $1.15 from a year ago, soft red winter wheat averaged $3.85 a bushel, up 2¢ from a month earlier but down 52¢ from 2015, hard red spring wheat averaged $4.54 a bushel, up 8¢ from October but down 34¢ from a year ago, and durum averaged $6 a bushel, up 48¢ from October but down 97¢ from November 2015.

Corn prices averaged $3.23 a bushel in November, down 6¢ from October and down 36¢ from November 2015, while soybean prices averaged $9.46 a bushel, up 16¢ from October and up 78¢ from a year earlier.
