WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S. — The total value of U.S. agricultural exports in fiscal 2016 totaled $129.7 billion, surpassing the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) forecast. With the performance, the total value of U.S. agricultural exports between fiscal 2009 and fiscal 2016 exceeded $1 trillion, the strongest period of U.S. ag exports in U.S. history, according to the USDA.
