WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S. — The total value of U.S. agricultural exports in fiscal 2016 totaled $129.7 billion, surpassing the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) forecast. With the performance, the total value of U.S. agricultural exports between fiscal 2009 and fiscal 2016 exceeded $1 trillion, the strongest period of U.S. ag exports in U.S. history, according to the USDA. ATLANTA, GEORGIA, US — The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) welcomed thousands of visitors to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, US, from Jan. 24-26.
After having to cancel the 2021 show due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions and reduced attendance in 2022, this year’s turnout had organizers optimistic and suppliers and visitors making more connections for their businesses.
World Grain was on the expo floor covering the event and educational sessions, which was co-sponsored by the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), US Poultry and Egg Association and the American Meat Institute.
